It is ridiculously satisfying when I find someone “getting” and, even better, extending whatever it was that I was playing with in some post on this blog. Such is the case for Jim Putnam’s post, Extended Moments, where he ponders and then extends the ideas from my post of yesterday, Catch and Release. “I want to know … I want to know …” he says. And then Felix carries it a bit further in a response to Jim’s post; this one Catch as Catch Can.
Jim Putnam uses one of Felix’s Today pictures as the object of his “I want to know…” musings. The picture chosen sort of reminds me of one I took about a month ago with my little G10. Not nearly as mysterious as Felix’s but … it just reminds me of it:
Doesn’t this one (below) — another G10 snap from a hike — make you wonder what the tree was “doing”?
